California QSD and QSP Stormwater Training

Geosyntec provides classroom training with practical field insight and a comprehensive understanding of the CGP, QSP, and QSD

Who Is QSP and QSD Training For?

If you are a California manager, site superintendent, or inspector on a construction site that disturbs more than an acre, or if you are responsible for the engineering, design, and preparation of SWPPP plans, then you need to know your obligations under the new California Construction General Permit (CGP).

Our QSP and QSD courses help meet the wide range of documentation and site requirements under the new law and make you more proficient in the stormwater and environmental compliance field.

The Introduction to California Construction General Permit (CGP) class is best suited for managers, site superintendents and inspectors needing a basic overview of stormwater Best Management Practices (BMP). This course provides an overview of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System program (NPDES) requirements. Geosyntec's two-day course for Qualified Stormwater Practitioners (QSP) meets the CASQA training requirements of the California CGP for BMP implementation, SWPPP inspections, and stormwater monitoring and reporting. Our three-day course for the Qualified Stormwater Developer (QSD) certification meets the training requirements for a person responsible for writing or amending a SWPPP.

The length and subject matter of these California stormwater courses is mandated by the state-approved curriculum.
